Without the ability to track vitamins, the user won’t know if they’re under consuming certain nutrients which can put them at a higher risk for nutrient deficiencies.įor this reason, an app like Cronometer would be better if you’re unsure about how much of each nutrient you’re consuming and how much you should be consuming. ![]() Lifesum does not track vitamins, which is surprising considering the app is marketed as a health app and an adequate intake of micronutrients (vitamins & minerals) is key to better overall health. If you want the ability to set micronutrient targets then Cronometer is a better option (click to read my review) because it allows you to set specific targets and has up to 82 micronutrients that it tracks – a lot of which can be done on the free version. However, Lifesum doesn’t track any vitamins and doesn’t allow you to set your own micronutrient targets, it simply allows you to see how much of each nutrient you’re consuming. ![]() Lifesum does track some micronutrients (mostly minerals) so that users can see how much of each nutrient they’re consuming each day to help identify nutrients that are being under-consumed and nutrients that you’re overconsuming. ![]() Does Lifesum Track Micronutrients? If you have the knowledge to set your own macronutrient targets then Lifesum is a great app to use.
